Like many trending restaurants in SF, Del Popolo started off as a food truck. Known for their wood-fired pizza, the clientele they built over 3 years eagerly awaited the opening of their downtown brick and mortar restaurant. Neopolitan style-pizza and seasonally rotating antipasti make this a fun place to share a meal with a group of friends. I was lucky to share this meal with my fellow Gourmet Walks tour guides at yet another fabulous staff dinner. I am so grateful to work with such an amazing, talented, and fun group of people.
