Gialina

Glen Park is only one neighborhood away and yet it is foreign to me. Gialina, the sister restaurant of Ragazza (one of my favorite restaurants in NOPA) serves up similar food but in a much more intimate and casual atmosphere. This Neapolitan-influenced menu is built around seasonal and local ingredients. For this reason, spring is my favorite time of year to come here because it marks the beginning of fresh peas, loads of citrus, and edible flowers. The dishes are bright in color and bold in flavor.
