At Tsubasa, the pictures do more justice than any words could do. This sushi bar in Hayes Valley is one of the best places for fresh and quality sushi. In fact, they even receive daily shipments from the legendary Tokyo fish markets: Tsukiji and Ike-Jime. Tsubasa is committed to using fish that is wild caught or sustainably-raised (i.e. aquaculture).

You do not go here for mysterious deep fried rolls and sauces that mask the fish. Instead, stick to the classics: the chef's choice of nigiri (fish with rice) and sashimi (just raw fish).
